The Monday morning complaints are all too familiar by now to most employees everywhere. It's especially true this cold and sleepy Monday weather.
So, how do you keep yourself from being pulled in by your bed? How can you resist the soft and welcoming lures of more sleep?
I don't have a choice, my mom (yes I'm with my mom) wakes up at 5am and pounds the mommy nag to all who still goes to school (my siblings) and even I have no escape against her determination to start the day right regardless the temptation. I have no choice but to yield since I need to drive them to school hehehe..
Anyway, what do you do?

I think it's quite common that everywhere you will see people complaining about Monday blues after Sunday had passed. Since the weather is very cold for almost every countries, i think waking-up getting ready for work routine would be disrupted a bit. I remembered before when i was still a full-time office staff, every Monday is like a dream when i need to get up ready for work. In the office, every colleagues seems still in blue Monday moods, so remembered never to schedule an important meeting on Monday....It's always better to schedule your important meeting on other days.....

Trust me, you are certainly not alone
I cannot stand Monday mornings. They are just so depressing and slow. Back to work for another week of grinding through the days

Monday blues eh? Still you should make it a routine to start the week scorching. It's hard to get up the first day of the week but it's a lot harder to catch that kind of habit.

Oh, tell me about it. I just hate to get up that early, especially under such cold weather. I would like to spend more time in my bed. Uh,work again today, I wish that I have more vacation hours to burn.

Hey Chica. I am not a good person to give this type of advice because I would simply tell you that every once and a while you need to skip. That keeps you young. Just curious but how old are your sibling? I got a little confused because when I read this I said to myself she must be 16 or 17. I took a look at your profile. I see that I was way off. Thank heavens. Take them to school and then come back home to rest. I dont suggest doing this all the time but every few months or so. Stay in bed, play with the animals and just chill. when it gets warm out go to the beach and relax for the day. No one knows but you. That's what makes it so fun. I am sorry for being a bad influence. Enjoy! dl

Hi, laydee
Well, I am one of those who feel super lazy Monday morning and the alarm usually is put to snooze mode several times before I get up. But I woke up early today because it's my husband's first day at his new job. His work starts thirty minutes early that his old one and I have to show my support by getting up early and make sure that he would not be late. Plus, I have to hurry so that he could drop me off at my office before heading to his.
Have a nice day!

Ha, I'm lucky enough that this monday, I DON'T have to get up early! Woo-hoo! I get to sleep in until.. about 1 PM ish! Usually I'll have to be up at about 4 AM to get to ready & get to work on time (5:15 AM) but my schedule is a little goofy this week and requires me to work during the night time.. So, I just got off work at 3:30 AM today and now I'm going to go to sleep! But I definitely agree. Mondays seem to be consistently bad.

I am having the Monday blues as well. I went to work so bored and tired that when I got there I wanted to go home already. I sat on my chair the whole day nagging myself to wake up and enjoy my day because I have no choice but to work for money and for myself.

ahaa it is true it takes an unbelievable amount of will power for me to get out of bed on a morning. However, this morning i woke to find out college was closed. WOOOOHHH, if only i didn't have a test i had to get to. haha so i had to force my self out of bed like any other morning. My 5 set times for me alarm to go off don't exactly work. i never hear any of them :D

This thing is familiar with school kids, office goers, and sometimes even the homekeepers. Because during the weekdays, they must wake up early and prepare lunch and breakfast very soon.
To tell you the truth, I have taken leave on many mondays. Just because, I know very well that I have lot of things to submit on that day.

yeah this is definitely true to almost everyone.. LOL... What i do is to condition myself on Sunday nights, that i have to wake up early and be on time to work... Just sleep early and pray, and just look at each morning us a blessing. Also, think of something you look forward to see on Mondays or any other work or school days.. Im sure, you have at least 1 thing you want to do at your school or work place... You'll never what you'll gonna missed or whats something installed for you on this day... Life has many surpises right? Just remember to start a day with a smile and im sure everything will follow... May everyone enjoy the rest of our Monday... God bless us all!
