About the opinion that the resurrection will happen in year 2012

Some time ago, all people around the world shocked by the news that the resurrection will happen in year 2012. Although this news is old, but I just wanted to know what your opinion about it?

Do you mean the rapture? If you do, I think I disagree. Growing up in a home of faith I was always told that we would never truly know the day, until it was happening with us right in the middle of it all.

Not even remotely. Come 12/12/12 we will still be here like nothing happened, waiting for the next random date that has all this "proof" that the world will end. It was supposed to be 2000, during the Cold War the world was said to be ending, and World War 2 the world was predicted to end, same for World War 1. And so on back through history. The Middle Ages were filled with influential leaders saying the world was going to end as well as lots of religious leaders. And we are still standing here. And we will continue to.
