Well, I have my friends here in my Philippines. I treat them as treasures but, it would be also exciting to have friends anywhere. Maybe, they would become your friends in a "computer-based" manner. You can't see them personally yet, you feel that they also care for you. Ever watched Charlie's Angels Full Throttle? I love one of the quote they have stated there, and it goes like this... "Angels are like DIAMONDS... They CAN'T be made... They are FOUND..." Well, in this case, "Friends are like DIAMONDS... They CAN'T be made... They are FOUND..." So it is also a nice feeling finding and having friends everywhere.

Well, I hope you would soon find new friends that would really care and love you even though you are not physically present on their sight and vice versa.

On mylot I have friends from all over the world. As for friends that I talk on the phone they live mostly on the eastern part of the United States. Its great though to be friends with people of different countries. You learn their different life styles, foods they eat and their traditions.

There are a great many people that do that and really its a shame. They are missing out on one of the best things in life.

That is what I love the most. I am very culture curious so it appeases me to have friends all over the world. I truly feel sorry for the people that close themselves off to new experiences because of nationality, color or religion.

Just like you, I love foreign people as well. :) I am very interested in their language and perspectives. I think it's nice, cool, and fun to have foreigners whom you can discuss about your interests with. So far my only friends from other countries are the ones from Facebook and here at myLot. :)

Hey it is a start. And you never know, there may be a time when you or one of your friends will end up in a country that you have friends in. Wouldn't it be handy to know someone there...

I find this to be very true. I know that I have been helped many times by the people I have developed friendships with online from other countries.

I have friends in some parts of the world. I have email and snail mail friends. I call them already friends because we've been in contact for over two years and more even if we haven't seen each other in person. I have friends in Germany, Finland, Estonia, US, Ukraine and a new one from the Czech Republic. And I'm from the Philippines where my friends are scattered all over the country.

These days, email and computer friends are pretty commonplace. With busy lifestyles and not seeming to have enough hours in the day, its nice to be able to sit down for a few minutes and see what is happening somewhere else.

Yes, it is a wonderful thing to have technology at our fingertips that allow us to talk to each other as if we were right in each others homes.
