When I was elementary my father teach me how to swim and i really give effort & time to learn it. Then because of good hard work I learned it. By the way, I have this very weird question about my self. I have a pet which is a fish and while feeding it, one question comes up in my mind and that question is this '. Little birds try to learn how to fly in their nest they move their wings and try if they can able to float like their parents. Then after long try of training they can able to fly high and depent their self from the wind. How about the baby fish? Are they also trying to learn how to swim? Or since birth they can able to swim with out learning it? What do you think about it?

Nice question, friend! Well, as the eggs hatch, baby fishes are set on a challenge to survive. As you have said, they are made up of jelly-like substance and jellyfishes don't actually swim, they are just carried by the waves. At first, baby fishes usually follows the direction of the waves as they can't control their bodies on that stage. As they grow, they try to control their bodies and tries to oppose the waves and now, they can swim freely. You can't teach an old dog new tricks. That's why people are being teached while young and same situation on the fishes, they must learn how to survive. This is my view on your topic, have a nice day!

I agree with you that you can't learn an old dog a new trick. That's why baby fish are teached to swim when they are in the stage of learning like a baby. Honestly, it's really hard to survive in waters that's why fish are real survivor in water.

That's right! Other small fish are eaten by the big fish. It's a part of their ecosystem of life. By the way, my friend? Are you familiar with the game feeding frenzy? It somekind related to the life of a fish where they eat small fish to survive.

Yeah? At the first stage they can be compared to a jelly substance and we all know that jelly finds easy to move in liquid phase that's why when they move they already swim. I think swimming is not their blood because the way they move is swim. Thank you for sharing your response! Happy posting to you!

Maybe they are just carried by the waves as you will notice that baby fishes goes to the direction similar to the waves. That was just a start for them but once they learned how to control their bodies and to go against the waves, they have now learned to swim freely. The first thing a baby fish already knows is on how to breathe in water because they will not survive if they don't know about that.

baby fish were guided by his mother to learn to swim because of daily life in the water. Their bodies are still weak, and their mother always keep them until could actually swim.
