have you build and gain real friendship here in mylot?

Converting a virtual friend into a real one takes time. I am on yet another forum and it took 2 years for me to finally invite a forum member over. She is from U.K. She stayed with me for 2 days. It was heartening to note that whatever impression I had of her and she of me was the same when we were in the viritual world even after this meeting. There were no unpleasant surprises

I did't actually. But I'm still newcomer here! I think that it is not impossible. I heard that there are people that make good relations with others here in mylot. It's great to have a discussion with people from different countries! You can find out more about them and their place.

i was fortunate enough to have made a few friends in mylot whom i continue to keep in touch with outside of the site. some thru YM messages or emails, some thru mobile messaging or calls. and then a few months ago i have met one of them and i'm scheduled to meet another mylot friend hopefully before this first quarter ends. meeting mylot friends is like meeting an old friend for the first time. i'm basically the same person i was online as in real life and so far my mylot friends and i continue to share little slices of everyday happenings we call... life. hehe i would like to think that i have gained real friendship here in mylot. as real as it can possibly get.

i am already new here, so i don't have that experience as you expected. But i do want to get some friends here, i think it will work as there are intense communication between other members. Especially the same perspective about their problems. So, I'd love to get new friends here and i feel happy when i join the discussion, share my experience and get some answers from other members. But it's all depend on the person it self. Whether they want to intense the communication and develop it to the friendship or just like you did to post and answer a discussion everyday. But both thing above are ways to make new friend, so i think i just need patient and keep communicate with other members. Thank

i come here just for fun. not for truely friendship. and the other purpose for me to come here is i am interested other people's life and story. when i found some people are not happy about something.i try to help them analyze the problem they faced with. then i became more happy.

Hi flagella.I am in here (mylot)just two weeks. But only three friends I have. The trouble is we have a chat only time. I don't know who they are and where they come from at all. I feel sad about this. I am wishing a good friend who can chat with me frequently. And then we can have a share in ours joys and sad.

Well, I only have a few friends from this site that I have actually got to interact with outside of myLot. Well, we got to talk on an instant messaging system and another one, I got to meet when they had an event in the city. Was interesting to actually get to interact with them and not just their opinionated side which we often have when we are here in this site. We started like any usual member, just replying to posts and discussions. Later on, sending personal messages to each other here in this site until, providing alternate means to communicate. Its not always as easy though. You really don't know who your dealing with and it is indeed risky. (^_^ )

hello flagella08! i am also here for quite a long time, more than a year and i can say that i have found some good friends here, we were able to develop friendship through our regular responding & commenting back to each other...we even talk through pm's. some people here are already my friends offline and our friendship even becomes stronger because of our interaction here, some i just met them here but our friendship actually go beyond the discussion area...and i am happy with that... but some, they just remain as casual friends on line...friends on mylot. we were able to maintain such friendship through constant communication...

I have few whom i develop friendship but not really close as we only known each other for few months. Then, most of the encounter happen here in replying to discussion and support each other though the face is not seen most of the times the feeling of friendship is even great despite the anonymity of privacy is maintain and that add to the mystery of the sites the mind speaks and when both thinking collides it results to great ideas.

I haven't got any yet in my knowledge, but you know people are always blind of what is beside us all along. So, who knows, a mylot real friend is just around the corner, waiting to be discovered. Besides, friendship is 50% mutual cooperation, 30% spending time, and 20% coincidence.
