Global steel philippines, the country's biggest new generation steel mining company embraces six sigma. the company realized that to attain industry leadership, it must be diven by six sigma concepts and philosophies to improve business performance, according to company executives. yje company has 16 black belts, certified and trained 454 green belts and provided exposure and championship training to over 620 employees.

six sigma has a major influence on production, methods and quality assurance. and it is used to improve and eliminate defects or errors in the production, thus many companies embraces six sigma to have a quality product

i think, its becoming a trend now on companies. ive searched on some websites, and i found out that a lot are hiring personel who have passed or have a certifiacte on six sigma.
