There were two different types of games that were played yesterday . on one side there was the defense based game, The Ravens beat down, and then there was the scoring fest in Arizona. Which type of game do you like? Me, I live for defense. I like seeing a QB running fir his life, unless he is my QB.I love hearing and seeing a damn good hit. How about you? Score fest or D fest?

Ray Lewis has made me a fan of the Ravens. I'm always amazed on how defense carried that team. I watched this game yesterday, not only because I liked Baltimore, but also because I don't like the Pats and Bellichek. I was thrilled when they led 24-O after the first, and mostly because of points-off-turnovers. I don't hate Manning and the Colts that much, but it would make for an exciting game next weekend. I only saw the overtime period of the cards and packs game. And then again, it's a defensive play that won the game. I'd like to see goals, but once in a while, I'd like to see a D-fest. Specially if it were two good teams.

You are my kind of guy.i have loved Ray Lewis but I can't call myself a Ravens fan. I prefer their nemesis the Steelers.I am with you when it comes to The Pats and their "coach".I'm a Jets fan. With all that said. If my saints don't make it, I hope the ravens go and win the Superbowl.

I have been a saints fan since Mora was coach. It would be great to see them win the Super Bowl.

I also like the Saints. After Katrina, and the features about the superdome being a shelter, made me a fan. Of course, it doesn't hurt that Drew Brees is having a great season. Well, at least before they lost 3 straight. I also hope they shed off their 'Lovable Loser' tag and make it all the way to the superbowl.

I'm a Baltimore Ravens fan so for me it is all about the D. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate offense. For years the Ravens only had defense and no offense. This is probably the best offense we ever had but it nothing like seeing our defense get after Brady and force turnovers like we did yesterday.

I'm hoping the Ravens pull it off against the Colts. That would give the Chargers a home field advantage when they get past the Jets, for the AFC Championship. This year it's Superbowl or Bust for San Diego. Not to mention of the teams left in the AFC the Chargers owe pay back to both the Jets for the playoffs loss 4 years ago and the to Baltimore for earlier this season. So Ravens please bring it against the Colts. I look forward to seeing you guys again for bragging right and a trip to the Superbowl.

Hi sarah. There's another thing we have in common. I'm also a Ray Lewis fan. On his on-field antics, anyway.

Usually I prefer a good defense over an offense. And it also was fantastic watching the cheaters, er the Patriots lose so horribly and whine and mope on the sidelines during the game. But for pure joy and fun, the Arizona game was more enjoyable. There was strong defense, strong offense, it was just a big game with everyone playing their best. It was one of the best games I've ever seen, all it was missing was snow so it would of been real football weather.

I missed the first game but the Cardinals/Packers game was good to the end. Some of the catches made, calls missed. All-in-all it was a good game.

To long time football fans both types of games can be a exciting to watch. I prefer to see a game every so often like the Arizona game yesterday because those are the types of games that anything can and will happen. I think its ironic that game was ultimately decided by a defensive play. But then there's good old fashioned smashmouth football. Two powerful football teams just line up and hit each other until one of them makes a mistake. I remember being in Vegas several years ago when Pittsburgh and Miami went at in the playoffs. That was the hardest hitting playoff game I have ever seen, and both teams left that game beat up afterwards. This time of year it boils down to Offense vs Defense. Most of the time in the playoffs Defense beats offense, but not always. The trick is to have enough balance on both sides of the ball to be good on either. The Chargers (My team) are a good example. There defense gives up alot yards but tightens down in the red zone and doesn't give up a whole lot TD's. They dont get all that many sacks this year, but they do bring an attacking style that gets pressure, and forces turnovers. Will they go all the way with a offense second to none. We'll see, They have to get past two good football teams before the Superbowl regardless of who the play, but if should be fun. God I love this time of year.
