Hello my fellow mylotters! this new years I've decided to become a vegan, raw and cooked. I've been a vegetarian on and off for most of my life. this healthy living journey is very interesting. What are your opinions on veganism?

Wow, that is a serious resolution you've got there. I'm a vegetarian and I find it very rewarding, I hope you're new diet is all you are expecting it to be.
Good luck. :)

Welcome to the world of veganism. I am a vegan and before than I was a vegetarian. I eat salad, nuts, fruit and vegetables. I drink soy drinks and fruit juices. I wear shoes made from lorica. I feel happy to live the life of kindness. I don't eat animals because they are my friends. Being vegan is the right choice for me. I respect other people's choices of food. More and more people are becoming vegans so that is excellent. Every year my nearest city has a vegan event. It is a wonderful day where I can go to vegan talks and buy lots of delicious vegan food.

Thanks a whole bunch for the welcome it made my day. So far with becoming a vegan I'm more happy and at peace with myself. I just wish I wasn't alone in this journey my family still eats meat. I hope to go to a local vegan meet up soon. You have a great day and be blessed. ;)

Im a vegetarian just in the last six months have switched as I was raised eating meat. I don't really miss it much and make use of the veggie ground round and similar products. This makes it easier for me. I would worry that a vegan diet would be harder to get enough protein intake. I like eggs and not much dairy but yogurt is good. I have found it a little challenging to eat out as many restaurants still have meat in most dishes.

so far I haven't had any challenges eating out, and I'm not 100% vegan I sometimes eat vegetarian to calm down my cravings of meat, by eating cheese and yogurts. even on vegan diet theres still enough protein in soy, hemp, legumes, nuts and seeds, so i'll be fine. Thanks for the feed back.
