Have you ever rated someone NEGATIVE???!!!

No, i never did and never will. Whether you give me a good or bad rating, i do not care. And i will never give anyone a negative rating. I know that each one of us, are only voicing our own opnions and we really try to give the best advice that we can. Nobody has to follow any advice. We are all rowing in the same boat, with almost the same problems, troubles and worries. So jut hold your head up high, tomorrow will be much better or the day after that.

Yes I have, but not yesterday. When I see a user plagiarising the work of others and copying a response or a discussion then I report them and I rate them negative. They are scum in my books

abruzzi10 I do not rate negative as if something is that bad report it otherwise go on past. I think a lot of people on here seem to have the wrong idea, they think if they dont like the opinion of another person who disagrees with their own opinion they can minus them, not so. mylot admins says do not minus anyone simply because they have a different opinion than you do.that is not fair, the response or discussion is good so why hit negative because you do not agree? wrong do not do that as its patently unfair. mylot says do not do that.

The only time I will rat anyone negative is when they post referral links just to the the referrals. I have given more negatives on that alone. I will say though, that I don't give them otherwise, as I would much rather give positives. I give many more of those than negatives. If a response or discussion isn't quality, then I just leave them alone and not bother with them. They don't really deserve a positive, and they really don't deseve a negative either as they didn't post any referral links. I will say though that I will give a negative for anybody that might be rude, but fortunately for me, I haven't seen any of those at least ban ones anyway. I do try to help anyone that I can to help others to raise up their ranking, as we are all trying to do that in here. There are some that will give negatives because they disagree with them, and to me that is so petty. We all have a right to our opinion, whether right or wrong, and we do need to respedt each other at all times. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

Oh, perhaps in the future I may find a reason to but, to date, I have not done a negative on anyone. Its a positive or no rate at all (shrug). Enjoy!

...Hi there, When I check off that rating, I am giving them a posituve rating for having the courtesy to take the time to answer the discussion question. Why rate them negtively when we all are giving an opinion on the subject. It makes more sense if you strongly disagree with the person that you leave it unmarked, as you suggested. Never. I only rate people's discussions positive. If the post is offensive, I will just leave it alone. But I won't rate it negative. I hope everybody will have a good fame here. Although it has nothing to do with our earning here. I love China

yes, I remember. yes did it once. There was a user who was posting some stupid discussion and he was in my friends' list. All those discussion made me rate him negative. That made me rate him negative. After that first and may the last time i have rated someone negative, I don't remember any stupid or deserving discussion to get negative rating from me.

I have never replied negative but if I do not like any discussion or response to my discussion either I give a gentle or polite reply or do not give any response. I completely agree with you that there is no need to write negative remarks as I feel mylot is a site for healthy discussions on various subjects. I think that a positive response or reply creates a positive atmosphere and positive energy.

Hi Abruzzi, I am 100% agree with you. I was 10th star too, but right now i am 9th, and i've been 9th for quiet a long time. I used to care about my star very much. But now i know that there are things that you can't control, like there are people that like to hit you with NEGATIVE, i don't know why. but to me, i always rate people "+", because i think they deserve it with their hardwork!

I read about the rating system in the FAQ's.It says to rate negative if the comment is bad for discussion,but NEVER rate negative because someone isn't agreeing with you.When someone rate you negative because you disagree,they're hurting their own reputation.They're not supposed to just rate negative.I notice here people join this site without reading the guidlines here,they should read them then respond to discussions.I have to say I like to rate positive,I rate every comment I read.If someone disagrees with me ,they still get rated positive.

No I never rate anyone negative even if the response is highly in disagreement - after all I feel that every one has his own opinion -as they say "one man's meat is another man's poison " - so I leave it at that - agreeing to disagree.

As it is a new year, I would like to be positive all the time. In order to always be happy and not hurt anybody's feelings, I have decided to rate everyone positive no matter what. Of course, if I see someone violating any rules, then I should save myself from too much worrying, and just leave the discussion without rating and without saying anything. I hope I can maintain this stance forever.
