Or you will be temptated to give your countryside house for an apartment in city?
What kind of life style do you like more?
Where do you think that you can live as you want, and can make all what you like?
I like more country side place, is more fresh air, i can do what i want in my yard, gardening, animals, pet, flowers and trees, is really great, even i am a person who lived almost all my life in capital, i adore this life style, to country side i mean....

Hi there Ice Smile.
Well if we are talking about Romania, i would never leave the capital city for the countryside but if i can be choosy and pick from another country, i would gladly give the capital city of Romania (or even London) for the countryside of England - it really is remarkable - a house there looks better then any palace here.

I like living in the city, cause I easily get bored and I love going to malls...and I like the fact that its easy access when your in the city. Like when you need something, a mall or a store would just be near. Though there's nothing wrong with the countryside, cause of the fresh air and the peace that you get from there.
So in conclusion, lol. I love living in the city, but I love spending vacations in the countryside.

My husband and I live in an apartment in the city, and we would never move. We like it here, and we are going to stay here. my mother lives on a farm in the country, and she likes that better, so we are all where we want to be, in my family.

I lived in the city up until four years ago and moved into the small suburbs afterwards. Here it is hard to cable or highspeed. They charge you out the culo just to deliver regular service out here in the boonies. I hate it. I love the city or the outskirts of it atleast. I figured here in the U.S. they should be high teck everywhere. but no Im stuck with out service.. Happy mylotting.

Hey icesmile! I would love to live in a countryside house with
flowers all around and trees and a nice brook or something and
some land with lots of animals! But, that wouldn't really be
convenient for me so I live in a city, but not in the city itself!
I live sort of in the outside of the main part of the city and
I do have a nice apartment that is called a "Garden Apartment"
because it only has two floors and I live on the bottom floor
so it kind of feels like I live in a house! But, sadly there are
no real gardens! I do have a nice little front stoop where I
sit with my friends in the summer! And there are trees and
benches so it is a nice setting compared to the high rise
apartment buildings!

I would give my pinky to live in the countryside. And where you may ask? England or the Scottish highlands. From what i have seen, read and heard, those are exotic as in the most awesome spaces, places and of course rolling hills. Quiet, is not the word, as i have to think twice to say what i thnk of places like that. Maybe i should consider Ireland as well. The more hills, trees and streams, the happier i will be. I am sure that those places are like sancturies, where you go to relax in peace.

I would love the country but having grown up there, I don't think my kids would like it. My ideal place would be a small town. Not middle of nowhere but not big city. Somewhere I don't have to worry about my kids riding their bikes down the streets or playing out front.

I supposed that depends on where I am lucky enough to be able to live in the future. I live in a huge metropolitan area, and enjoy the advantages of living in or close to a major city. The freedom of choice that I have to spend my time involved in a countless number of activities is something that would be hard to give up. However there are places I have visited that are far more rural and would be much more of a countryside type of lifesytle that are simply breath taking. If I could afford to live in those places it would be something that I would really have to think about.

hi icesmile ,
i would prefer to have both-country life and city life.I was born in the city and used to city life.Of course ,city life are hectic & busy all the time.Traffic jam and working life makes me sometimes think about living in a countryside where i always get a feeling of freedom, calm and serene life. That's when i go back to my wife's hometown which are located in the countryside.
After living for sometime,it felt like just too boring and perhaps too calm. This is when i thought about going back to the city. Now,back in the city in my room having a discussion with you and all mylot users, the questions pops up again-where would i rather be staying-countryside or city place?
good day

Maybe someday when I get older I'll need more calmness and then maybe I'll be able to sell my apartment and buy a house in the countryside. But who knows - I think that I'm supposed to live my life in the city. It's because my job and interests are connected with the life in the city. I want to be PR and journalist. I'm also musician . . . All these things I can do in town.
