Credit Card Companies

Why do credit card companies tell you to call them if you are having trouble paying the minimum payment and then put you on the phone with someone who is supposed to help you, and all they can say is,"We can't help you, your minimum is as low as it can get, call your other companies to see if they can help".... LOW??? It's 154.00 a month!!!!! I also love how they refer you to a credit counseling service and when you say that you've already talked to them, then they don't say anything other than, "Try another one". UGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Has anyone else had this problem?
