I try to avoid being stressed out. I try to find a hundred ways to get over this. I am not the popular girl in the bunch. people always make me out to be the nerd. Why do I feel I need to fit in with this crowd?

I suggest taking a warm bath to take away stress. Going for a bike ride along a country path or visiting the beach can take away stress. I like to read a travel book. Most of all I like traveling overseas. I suggest you might like to make some nicer friends. I think that being happy in life is a wonderful thing to do.

Well stress is part of our daily life. It cannot be stopped nor prevented and it will only stop when you stop breathing. Well from what I observed from you is that you seem to be the introvert type of a person. I think the first thing you should understand is yourself. Introverts are some kind of a loner type of person and avoids crowds as possible. I think what you should do is to be comfortable who you are and feel what are your needs as an introvert and after you understand yourself you can in a way control the stresses in yourself. I think what causes you to be stressed is you forcing yourself to go through what an introvert doesn't need. You should enforce only what you desire to do. If you like to be alone then do it and enjoy that. Social interaction is still a necessity but it is not a priority for an introvert and should not enforce that to yourself. Doing that might minimize you feeling stressed out and everything.

Some doctor and researchers advice m.a.s.t.u.r.b.a.t.i.o.n but not always, is good to ease our stress.. of course enough rest and proper diet will help also.

Well misspretty, I'm 16 and I remember when I felt the need to become popular in school. I wasn't cool, but I wasn't someone who had no friends either. Being cool doesn't mean everything. In a way, I think I'm cool because I'm different and I try to be myself and not copy others. People look at me and they're like he's actually a pretty decent guy. Being yourself is the key to success. Now, I don't even care what people think because I know I have real friends who accept me for who I am.

Since I am a pharmacist by profession, I'd to recommend taking "Stresstabs" brand of multivitamin to fight harmful effects of stress. Sure, there are some other ways to deal with stress, but don't forget, your body is like a machine, and it needs good fuel and oils to keep it in good running condition amidst stress...
