Who jumps?

Say you are on an airplane with just you, your brother or sister ( if you had one)
and the pilot. So there are three people now on the plain. You are halfway to your destination and the plane is having engine trouble. Someone must jump out to lighten the load or the plane will go down with all three. So who jumps? and why?
