Have you ever applied to write for somewhere such as the Examiner or Factoidz and gotten rejected? How did you feel? Or have you ever applied and been accepted? Were you surprised or did you know all along with reasonable confidence that you would be accepted?

I applied with Examiner and never heard one way or another...lol. I took it as a rejection but it didn't bother me. I applied on a whim anyway. Now, when I applied with Demand I was worried until they accepted me. They have been a blessing in my life. Helped keep us afloat.

Hello my friend Bethany1202 Ji,
Well it has never happend with both of us throughout our life. If I am not mistaken, I suppose, I am understanding 'applying for writing means - job'. I am not talking about that, I am now talking about that my elder Son who applied for cancellation of his transfer and tried at least half a dozen times, was always rejected, so I understand the pinchof rejection. In fact, my hubby was advising him not to do that as he should have moved in his first place. And finally he had to move out. I feel that one should understand the limits and do apply accordingly in order not to face un-wanted situation at the end.
May God bless You and have a great time.

I applied for Examiner back in August and got accepted in September. I would have been annoyed if I was rejected, as they had like no one in my city and I had a good application. One writing things I have been rejected for is a lot of the jobs I have applied for on oDesk, but mostly because they do not want to pay me a decent wage. I do not mind losing those opps because I am not going to work for pennies unless I have the control like I do on my own blogs and to some extent on Examiner.
