At what point can you consider taking home hotel stuff as stealing? I always thought it was okay to take home the soaps and shampoos because they came with the price you paid for. They were there for you to use so technically they're yours. What about towels?

Oh no! not the towels please! thats stealing. I worked in a hotel before, we dont mind if soaps, shampoos, tissues were gone but not the towels, bed cover, pillowcases and etc.

i would never take anything from hotels. i know, trust me, that it can be tempting, and then we find ourselves making excuses, saying it belongs to us anyways... or we paid for these, etc... but it would eat up my conscience. frankly speaking, soap and shampoo might still be okay, as the hotel people change that for every new client in a particular room, but towels... i dont know... all i know is that i wouldn't do it...

Hi, I think everything taken from the hotel with you at home is stealing, but I have also do it. I have taken the note " Do not disturb!", because I liked it very much
