Alex Burrows Got Robbed Last Night

This is for you Bounce - Alex got robbed last night!! Vancouver would have won that game if it were not for the BAD officiating!!!! Obviously the refs don't know the difference between a "dive" and someone losing their edge. I don't blame Burrows for getting upset. But it is like I told my son.. See he got upset and showed it and ended up with more penalty minutes. Hard to keep your cool sometimes. Great lesson for both boys but bad for the Canucks. I hate when a game turns because of BAD officiating. Happen to my son and his team this past weekend. UGH!!

I'll add my condolences for bounces' canuks. I didn't get to see the game. I do agree it may sound like sour grapes when we complain about bad officiating but it's frustrating when you know that it effected the outcome of the game.

Yes, I was grumpy last night. Thankfully, someone posted a really funny story about Murphy's law that made me almost choke in caramel popcorn!

Thanks M for raising this discussion. Normally, I will not listen to sportstalk radio the day after a loss, but I thought I heard something on early morning TV. About bad officiating, and the refs had it in for the burr. I was still half-asleep when I thought I heard it. It's hard for Burrows to walk the fine line of being an agitator. I guess reputation helped him here negatively. I think you're doing a good job telling your son M. Even with the bad officiating, he still got 5 points.
