why is it addictive?

I'm totally a coffee drinker.. I don't know why it is addictive but I'm sure I'll drink that coffee on the table whatever kind that is ^^.. Do you think that the quality of goods these days are addictive that you can't stop ignoring it? If so then will it cause you good or bad effects? I think it depends on what addiction you got right?.. well I guess we just have to be careful, be knowledgeable enough of the things we're buying...enjoy life^^
