Will Depp sail again?

I had heard rumors that Depp would doe another Pirates of the Caribbean. Has anyone heard whether a deal was made to go forward with this?

Yes there will be a fourth in the series called "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" and is scheduled for a release in 2011, filming planned to start sometime this year. Johnny Depp is set to reprise his role of Jack Sparrow although there are rumours suggesting that after Disney sacked one of his friends he may decide to walk away.
As for Knightley and Bloom returning, I don't think they will as I believe the story takes it off in a new direction.

It is good to hear that Pirates of Caribbean is returning.I am a big fan of Caribbean as it is one of the best series of movies.And all three parts have been great and depp was splendid in all three parts.I think the 4th part will also be a good movie and the storyline should be good.

This 4th installment of "Pirates of the Caribbean" is already confirmed. It has been featured on Yahoo news. The storyline is about Johnny Depp finding the fountain of youth. And for the first time, this fourth movie of Pirates of the Caribbean will be based on a popular book. But it seems like the movie's title is changed to 'stranger tides' or something like that *I just checked it on Yahoo*. And I guess Keira Knightley is not his leading lady anymore...it's gonna be Penelope Cruz for some reason.

Yes!! Jack Sparrow will sail again! And the next movie installment is entitled "On Stranger tide" I think it's about their adventure in the fountain of youth! I can't wait to see it! I think this will be shown next year! wohoo!!

The studios will always try and continue with a successful franchise, and there are several series that have sequels by popular demand. I hope that there are more Pirates of the Carribean, I enjoyed the franchise, but since one of my favourite characters was Norrington, I was sad how little they used him in the last one. That said it would be cool to give a view of Cpt Jack Sparrow looking for the fountain of youth which was the last clue. I really hope it comes out but only when they start filming will I start getting excited because things like Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was talked about and near confirmed for years they would have things set up then something would fall through it took near on 20 years, hopefully this is not the case.

I had heard that,and very looking forward to his fourth movie-Pirates of the Caribbean.
That is my favorite!
