Hey friends, Iam currently out of town and iam mylotting from a cyber cafe right now. This is the first time iam doing this as I left my laptop in my office and this is the only way i can connect myself with internet. I have every hestitation to login in my differant accounts and also in this site as i dont know what type of security they have in these computers. The last thing i want to have is getting my accounts hacked. So friends do u mylot from a public computer? Do u find it safe? What precaution u take while u mylot or any other site when using a public computer? Cheers, Tutul

hello there! i have tried mylotting in a public computer one time...actually i don't hesitate to do that and don't worried much about the security of my account here coz if you noticed, when you are logging it, mylot is asking if you are using a public computer...and so what i did is just to check it... but i don't really enjoy much doing mylot in public places coz i can't really concentrate and i just don't feel good and i feel like i find it difficult to type in their keyboard...hehe but never will i log in paypal and in my online banking account using other computers... safety first...

No I don't usually do Mylot from a cyber cafe. Because I don't have a laptop with Wifi access to surf online. So I just stuck with posting on Mylot from at home. Sometimes I like to do posting on Mylot when I am stuck at my Local library. They have computers with internet access there.

i have never tried that, I remember that i used to go to a cyber cafe when i did not have the internet connection and i usually go to cafe's for chatting. But when i got my internet connection , my mind changed about chatting and i switched to myloting and time saving social networking sites.

Hi, tutul0045. I have never myLotted in a cyber cafe before. I have myLotted in a motel, library and at McDonald's before. If I myLot in a cyber cafe, I would make sure that my laptop is facing me. That would be my screen. I don't think that I would want others to see what I am writing, so I will be secluded to the wall. Places like these, I kind of avoid going to because people can still see you no matter if you are in a corner. I want what I do on the Internet to be very private.

I admit that I have accessed from public computers. However, I always delete history and cookies to delete the traces of my accounts in that computer, as is not safe not to do so.

Yea as everyone says i really don't recommend those cyber cafe's anywhere ! one time i logged into my myspace account then logged out, i left and came back in the next 3 hours to find out that the computer remembers my e-mail and my password ! i myself am very smart and found a way to get rid of that but for you i wish you the best of luck and hopefully it didn't do the same thing to yours so good luck and don't trust those things !

hi tutul0045! i used to do so when my internet connection at home was down for a day or two. it was ok. thought of the idea about hackers doing damage to my account but i know there is an option when you log-in to your account to prompt the system that you are logging in from a public computer. so it worked out well for me. anyway, i frequent cyber cafes jus to check my email and i make sure i always log off from my accounts. i also delete the cookies and clear my cache. not so sure if that helps but it helps me feel more secured. anyway, always looking forward to reading your thoughts and posts. cheers!!!

No, I haven't as I don't travel since I live alone, and if I did, i would take my laptop with me. In 2008, my ex and I went on a trip to the Oregon Coast for a weekend, and i took my laptop with me, but the motel we stayed in, didn't have internet access, os all I could do was play offline games. I didn't mind though, as as that time, I wasn't doing anything online to make money, as I didn't know about mylot at that time. I doubt I will ever go to an internet cafe to do anything. I don't ever go to places like that anyway, so it really doesn't matter. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

I did it before when I used to play my online games in cybercafes with friends. One alt+ tab is all it takes to flip through mylot and my game. I'm having fun playing and at the same time I'm enjoying learning things, giving advices and sharing a thought with the world. The best part would be is that I get paid for doing those things

I usually go to an internet cafe to play games and do mylot at home or in the office. I tried to log in a few time in mylot in an internet cafe but i just can't focus since my mind is into gaming. I did not realize that the potential harm it could do to my account if it gets hacked or as someone pointed out you could get accused of using multiple accounts. Cheers!

I never do anything in cyber cafes, because I don't feel safe using public computers. I use only my computer for things that need signing in. When I am in cyber cafe I either skim through the news or play games
