I have recently become engaged to my partner of 4yrs. Everybody is now wanting to know if we've set a date, where we are getting married, relatives are inviting themselves and I feel like the whole thing could get out of hand. I have my girly dream of getting married in a big stately home, with the guests staying their over night and everyone having a wonderful time. Basically the film, American Pie the wedding is my dream day. But reality and money make me wonder if it would be better to get married abroad. This is what my boyfriend wants. I have heard of a few people that have got married on a beach with crystal clear waters on their own but i'm not sure if its for me. It would solve people not being invited and keep the cost realistic in my opinion. A wedding in paradise would be equally as amazing, I'm torn between the two. I would really like to hear about your wedding experiences, from good to bad, what to expect and what not to expect. Hopefully then I could make up my own mind.
