I'm puzzled if i come across someone without a cell phone. In today's world, it's neerly required for many logistical reasons. What do you think?

I believe cell phones are an essential part of life. You can go anywhere with a cell phone and still make and recieve calls. Of course there are still some areas that don't have full coverage yet but they are workling on that. I agree that it is not a neccesssity but is working that way. I remember when I was little that wherever you went they had pay phones. Pay phones are gone because we all have cell phones. Land lines are slowly going away as well. We do not have one. Why do I need to buy land line when I have a cell phone. You still need land line for faxes though.

Hi worldclub .
Well, I don't have one. I don't consider it a need. It might be a convenience, but still not a need.
As long as person used their head, they got along ok without cell phones 50 years ago.

I don't own a cell phone. If people need me they can call me at home. If I am not at home, they can leave a message and I can call them back. Cell phones are a part of life in a way. I think about 99% of the people I know own a cell phone.
