I usually get up between 7 or 8 depending on the school or work day. I use an Ihome alarm clock so that I wake up to my Ipod. I purposely set it to where I can listen to a couple songs before I have to get up and get ready. On top of getting the chance to wake up slowly I do it listening to some of my favorite songs which starts the day off in a very good way.

Yes, I do get up early in the morning. Besides the fact my husband usually wakes up before me cause he has to get ready for work, I normally get up right after him. I have some days that I prefer not to get up but I do anyways. For me I don't think of it as much as a technique but if I actually get up out of the bed and go use the restroom, then I really don't feel as tired anymore. It may hit me a little later, especially if I'm not doing anything. If you just get up and start doing something it should wake you up. But that's just me.

It depends on whether I have to be somewhere. If I'm on an early shift at work, I set my phone alarm at 5.25am and the radio alarm at 5.30. Sometimes it feels like really hard work but, once I'm out of bed, I'm usually less tired than if I've stayed until 9am. Sometimes I'll just use the phone alarm but put it out of reach so I have to get out of bed to shut the thing up!

Yes I get up early in the morning. But I really don't need alarms. THat's because i don't need sleep so much. I usually sleep just three to four hours in a night so I can go to bed later and get up early. But I don't have techniques for this.

I think the best way to get up early is to SLEEP Early... Remember that "Early Birds catches the Early Worms..."
Thus, when you sleep early and you get up early, your BODY CLOCK will adapt to the sudden change and most probably your Body Clock would be the one who will wake you up in the next days and not your Alarm Clock...

i have to get up early as i have to reach my work on time and for that I keep my alarm on but i never wake according to it all the time instead the time increases most of the time.
I snooze it for minutes and then again and lastly after 15-20 mins. late i wake up.

Hi, angadp. Yes, I do get up early in the mornings. I have snoozed the alarm by not touching it when it goes off. Sometimes, I am very tired and restless. I will just get up by having me a cold glass of orange juice. Taking a warm shower helps me too. If I drink a little bit of my energy drink, it helps me as well.

Actually I would say that I am lazy in getting up in the morning as my college is nearby so I didn't felt the need but there have been some times that I have to go someplace or some work is to be done in the morning then I have to set up alarms. While setting alarms I do set it 30 mins before the actual time because I snooze it 3 times of 7 minutes atleast.Once it happened that I was snoozing it for more than 1 hour as I went to sleep at 2 o'clock and set the alarm at 4:30 as the sleep was not complete i was going on snoozing it and then I got late in reaching the destination.I try the technique to set the alarm some time before the actual time to get up.

Usually not, I tend to stay up late at night and sleep late in the morning. And as my snoozing alarm goes on forever I can turn it on and off for ever. Or possibly until the batteries go out :-) I usually don't have a problem get up early when I have, especially not when I have to reach a plane or go on some other sort of holiday.

It depends on what I have to do during the day. I like to sleep more in the morning. Indeed, I think that part is the most delicious part of sleep. But usually its necessary to wake up early.
And let's say it happened to me to snooze the alarm till one of use win the game. Sometimes, sleep wins!
The only useful technique that I can suggest is what I used to do when I was student. Put the clock somewhere far from your hands. When you pick yourself up from the bed it will be easier not to come back. It may be funny, but sometimes I put the clock somewhere that I should climb up the window to stop it making noise! But at least it works!
