I'll be checking my discussions first then my friends discussion. If I'm done browsing and answering the discussion in those two categories I head to the no responses and lastly the today's top

hello there...
usually i first go to the responses/comments that i received from other mylotters since i always check my email first to check notifications from mylot....
so depends which ever comes first on my email..if its a discussion started by my friend, then that will be the first place where i go, if its a response to my discussion, i go there and so on so forth...
but if i don't open my email and i go directly to mylot, i will surely check first my stated discussion, then my friends discussions... i also check on no responses and today's top...all depends on my mood and sometimes i do check by category/interest...
and like you, i love visiting this site and participating on discussions...

There is really no rhyme or reason for the first place I go, as it differs every day. However, I do make a habit of going to the top discussions when I get here. I like to see what is interesting people on this day. Take a peak at the engaging discussions. Whether I participate in them depends on how interesting they are. However, the top discussions are the first place where I head to.

There are several good discussion groups to start your Mylot day. I usually start with either life or questions and answers. Then I check to see what my friends are up to with their discussions, and finally I go to no responses or new user discussions. Those two catagories are nice because its a good way to pickup new friends and help out new members when they have questions. In any case there are usually at least a few discussions I can respond to at any given time.

turning my notifications on has totally changed the way I do things. Used to be I'd go to the 'started' tab and respond to people who had visited my discussions. Then I'd go to the 'responded' tabe and see if anybody responded to me. Then the 'friends started' tab. After that I'd go to 'no responses' and see if there was something interesting there.
Now, with notifications, I just take them in order. Then I go and visit the friends that I don't get notifications for. After that, if I have time, I visit 'no responses', 'today's top' or 'hot'...

I first the those of my interest that I'm most interested in, then I check the discussions of friends and check the discussion I've started to see if there's any new answers. Then I check discussion I've responded to to see if there's any I should comment more on. Then I usually upload a photo or two before I do something else.
