If you wait in traffic, you will read a book, newspapers, or just listen music?

Usually when I sit in traffic I still pay attention to the road,I do not read.I'll put on music,I always drive around with music on anyways.

When I'm stuck in traffic, I just sit there and listen to my music. Sometimes I sing along. If I am stuck for a very long time, I sometimes pull out my cell phone and take pictures out the window with the camera on it! I'm afraid if I start concentrating too much on something else (like reading) I'll miss when traffic starts moving again!

Hi martian, For me, it depends on whether holding a book is convenient or if I have one with me. If yes, then I will usually prefer to read a book. Otherwise, it would be down to music to me but I am not usually equipped this way. Or I would just relax and do nothing, sort of.

If I have to sit in traffic, I like to listen to music. Unfortunately traffic is part of life, and if you have a good cd, it does not seem to be so bad.

dear ice, if i am sitting down while waiting for the traffic to go thin, i can do either of the following depending on my mood: 1. read a pocketbook, 2. do crochet or cross stitch and 3. just watch the people while i munch on peanuts. have a nice day. ann

I prefer listening music. It makes me relax and be calm. But I hate waiting in traffic for long time in all the ways :) More that 10 minutes staying at one place drives me crazy :)

Because of my poor vision, I am never the driver. I can do what I want in a traffic jam. LOL If i am in a car, then I am in there with someone else, so we just sit and chat with eachother when we are stuck in traffic. It's never boring when you're not in there alone. LOL

The last option of listening music is the best as the other options for me are quite risky.As when i read books and newspapers , I like go deep inside in that world and so been stuck in traffic is also forgotten by me that time. i listen to music as it lessens the tension of being stuck and it freshens the mind too.

I like to listen to audio books in the car.

If I have to wait in traffic, I am am satisfied to listen to my favorite music cds while i wait. I listen to some Bon jovi and i am ready for anything. I would be too distracted to try to read anything. Just as well I guess.

The only thing I do while stuck in traffic is talking with passengers or on the phone. And listen to music. Doing any form of reading just sounds dangerous, got to pay attention on the road even if deadlocked.

If I'm not in the drivers seat, I usually fiddle with my phone or play handheld games.

I mainly listen to the radio, but we seldom have queues that lasts for hours. Only if there's work on the roads somewhere, or accidents.

when I'm in traffic i listen a music,because its reduce the tension and also time pass in that time . if don't have any any things in that time ,i just wait and watch the peoples what they.re doing.
