If you were given a choice, would you choose to stay in a peaceful countryside or you would rather stay in a big city? For me, I would prefer to stay in the countryside because of the peaceful environment and more simple and relaxing life. However, in this modern world, we have to sacrifice staying in the place that we really like due to job commitments. We might not get our dream job in the countryside as more job opportunities are available in the city. Besides, we would be able to meet more people in the city and this is really important to our social life. So, how would you choose? City or countryside?

I would choose countryside, hands down...I love the peaceful and quite lifestyle. I would love to have a garden, animals, an herb garden and time to enjoy all that. The older I get, the less the hussle and buzzle of city life appeals to me on any level.
Have a great evening!

I prefer the countryside. But I would not like to live too far out, away from a town, because I like the convenience of nearby shopping. We live in the country right now, and we have 26 acres, but we are only 5 minutes away from one town and 10 minutes from another. If it were a little warmer here in the winter, I'd be all set.

Big City! No doubt about it! I was raised in a small city but my college is in a little country town and it just drives me crazy! The only thing I like is that I can see the stars better at night but I can still see them at home. I like to be able to go and do things. Having nothing to but sit at home and play on the computer or watch TV gets on my nerves. I am definitely a city girl!

I'm a man of the city, always have been and always will. I was born and raised into a city life-style, so living anywhere else would feel too uncomfortable for me. Plus, I enjoy the hustle and bustle of the city, and the lively atmosphere in general.

Big city! I love the countryside, I love walking the forrest or mountains or strolling along the beach, but I wouldn't want to live there. I live in a quite big city (for Norway, compared to the rest of the world it isn't very big), but I'd love to live in for example London for some time.

I would prefer to live in the countryside than the city. I love the peaceful and picturesque countryside. I adore spending time in rural villages with old cottages. In my home country I have seen some old thatched cottages which are pretty looking. I like to walk across the green fields and breathe in fresh air. I find life in the city busy, crowded and noisy. I know that there are better work opportunities in the city. I am a primary school teacher. There are schools in cities, towns and villages. At the moment I live on the edge of a coastal town overlooking countryside.

I will choose city. Maybe I will choose countryside when I am old. It's convinent to live in the city. City means more oppurtunity and service. In my mind, man should have a career. I will live in the countryside when I am old because I want a quiet live then.

I would pick something in between the city and country side. I really like the countryside, however I like the convience of the city. if I could find a place that had the appeal of the country side, where I could have land, but still have the conviences of a the city, it would be perfect for me.

Hi liumay88, I have spent fifteen years at countryside, four years in medium city and about eight years in a big city, I prefer to rural life style when I look back my career.
I was born at a farmer house and grew up with plants, trees, herds and birds. I regard that time is a peaceful, calm and purified pleasure in my life, but most regret that I can't recall it back, it means these days only are kept in my mind.
I have to confess there are more chances to get money in big money, but we only get money, we lose a lot of funny, and some times lose myself in the bloomed city. No meaningful and exciting nowadays because I work as a machine, just wake up 7:30 am and back home 7:30 pm. In some time I just wonder whether I need to change the situation, to have some changes on my life, to make me more desiring and ambitious in my life.

I like more on the country side so long as I have all the amenities just like in the city. Not tottaly the same, but atleast it will make my stay convenient and comfortable. Just like having my own room, foam, TV, Ref, Radio, Cellphone and good signal as well, car, sufficient foods and drinks too.
It is just like combining what the city life can offer with that of the country side, except of course for the noise, pollution, vices, and bad warm climate.
Maybe I could do this after being so tired from work in the city, I would rather seek for a country side to live for the best cause.

I would choose the City as if there is an emergency like someone needs to get to the hospital immediately or something like that.
If you live in the countryside, you may not reach the hospital in time.
So,City is my choice.
And it is convenient to get things you need easily too.

I would prefer living in country side.A city life is hard life.Living in country sides is just like dreams.Having a huge farm with WIND blowing and living with people you love in a small place with PEACE and calm surroundings. Its just awesome.Green fields all around, birds chirping in there cute and melodious voices, the smell of wet soil, sunset and sunrise and all the other things which make you happy and gives your life the reason for living it.Living in country side is just like a dream come true.It gives you all the pleasure.

I prefer the country. Just as long as it is not too far away from everything. It is so peaceful in the country. You have more privacy and I feel more secure in the country. I do not like big cities. There is too much traffic amd too many people. Cities are too loud and crowded.

I think I'd like to live in a small town.Where I live,it's a neighborhood out in the middle of no where, and I want to move to town.At least I'll be able to get around better. There's transportation, but I definately don't want to live in a city.there's a city close by here,I don't want to live there, but there's a small town before you get into the city.I'm pretty much stranded where I'm at,because I don't drive.

i would like to stay in a big city. this is simply just because in big cities, all facilities are exist, from education to entertainment, from information and business. however, even i don't want to miss the experience living in a countryside. so, with the money o gained in the city, i will buy a house in a countryside which i can regularly visit.

Me and my husband plan to live in the countryside on our retiring days. You see as we grow old, we wish we could live in a more peaceful environment, breath-in fresh air, watch the sun as it rises in the morning and embrace each other as the sun sets in the afternoon.
