Is there a certain song that brings back memories?

That song for me is Martina McBride's Broken Wing. Ever since the first time that I heard my best friend sing that song at Karaoke, I always thought of her sweet voice singing. She passed away two weeks ago and listening to that song again and again is one of the things that has brought me a lot of comfort since then. Yes there's a lot of song that can bring back some of your memories .When i first heard the song "photograph" by nickelback in the radio i remember my high-school days with my friends doing foolishness around and doing some crappy things and we went to other place and hanging out over there and making some fun.High-school is a lot more fun and a lot more violent days of your life .Teens in high-school are so wild and you know its the best part or stage of there lives and they want to be as what they are.The line that caught me is"look at this photograph every-time i see this it makes me laugh" Because we have some funny pictures when we were in high school and we keep it and everytime i look at the picture it made me smile and sometime when i miss my friends it makes me cry.

Chris deBourg's Lady in Red is the sonf that brings vivid memories to me. We danced to this song when I met my wife. How romantic! ;-)

like coolcoder said there are a lot of songs that can bring back memories. good or bad they still bring back memories. on the radio every friday there is a station here in the philippines who plays 80's hits and man i feel young. for those are the hits when i was still i teen. and during sundays they play all sorts of hit back from 70's up to the 90's. i like goodbye girl of bread, more than words by extreme, to the moon and back by savage garden, lost in space by lighthouse family and a lot more.

Oh yes. Many songs bring back memories but my most memorable one is Mambo Italiano by Dean Martin. That song must have been played 100 times when my fellow high school Latin students went with our teachers for a week in Italy. Our tour guide introduced it to us and we almost constantly listened to it and I ended up buying the CD while we were there and every time I pop it in I just lean back and imagine that I am there once again.

hi olisaur When my husband to be and I were first going together there was a song that was played a lot. It was called Catch A falling star, and I have always thought of it as our song. I have been a widow for a long time now but still love that song. We were dirt poor but very much in love, and we did make it through 43 years so we must have done something right. now my favorite is an old beatles song, Cant Help falling in Love with YOU. love that tune and the words.

A good tune can bring back memories long forgotten yes.Many people when listening to music are very emotional and have intense feelings on a song.Our brain associates that emotion you had with the song and after a while when you listen to that song again it brings back the feelings you had last time,emotions.But be careful because music is very harmful to our lives if we don't choose are music wisely!

uhhm...if i am not mistake, there is a songs which can hypnotize your brain. you can laugh, sad, happy, remain memories, calm, etc. it's called brain wave . i listen it 1 hour every days 4 months ago on my iphone :) its good :)
