I just had to share the news of the birth of my 11th great-grandson, Noah, who was born today. His mother is a former member of the myLot family, and this is her second child. I have not seen him personally yet, but they did snap a picture of him to send me via email. He looks very much like his older brother(as far as I can tell). I will be happy when they come home from the hospital so that I can see him in person. I can't say how truly blessed I feel to be able to see all of these great-grandchildren. I can only hope that the world will be a better place by the time this generation comes of age. Do you have any great-grandchildren yet? So far as I know there is another one due very soon followed by another in a few months from now. So many children!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!
I am not a great grandma I'm a great granddaughter! I have been lucky in knowing three of my great grandparents. My mother was very young when she had me. My great grandma is at the nursing home here in the same town as me and I see her at least once a week... more often in the summer than winter because the snow kind of keep us from getting out. I hope to make her a great-great-grandmother!

That would be wonderful, missybal! My own mother got to enjoy many great-great-grandchildren before she passed away 3 years ago.

Having started my family at such a young age, sacmom, I don't recommend it for everyone. Take your time and enjoy life as much as possible.

Congratulations to you and your family on the very special news of your 11th great grandchild being born. It is lovely that you have got a photo of your new great grand son. I am sure that he is really sweet looking. It is wonderful that he looks like his older brother. My mom has seven grandchildren and I am not yet old enough to become a grand parent. My mom doesn't have any great grandchildren as yet. Many in five years time she might have. I have a 14 year old son, a 2 year old son and a 6 month old daughter. My sister has a 12 year old son, a 9 year old son, a 7 year old daughter and a 3 year old daughter. It is excellent that you have another couple of great grandchildren due to be born in the months to come. I hope that you will really enjoy it when you get to meet your new great grandson.

Thank you, maximax, for the kind words. Yes, I am blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Little Noah went home today. I have not seen him so far, other than photos, but he's very cute:

I married at 16 sanjana, and raising my family when I was so young has given me the benefit of enjoying my grandchildren, who are all grown-up, and now the great-grandchildren!

Hi, worldwise!
Wow! Congratulations! Children are indeed blessings. They somehow erase negativity and make all difficulties worth going through. I am 30, turning 31 soon, and I have not kids yet. I hope I will soon. You are indeed very lucky to be able to see your great-grandchildren.
Take care!

Thank you so much, Rainegurl! I once thought I had started my family too young, but the benefits of getting to enjoy my greats outweighs that.

wow congratulations that is amazing!
I don't have any grand children yet, not to mention great grandchildren. I only have one 15 month old daughter and that is probably very slow by average standards for my age.
Here's wishing little Noah, and the few more little ones due this year a great life!
You must have had many children yourself! It's now time to roll up your trousers and put your feet up and enjoy life after the tough times you must have spent raising your own children!
