Shut out by the islanders!! I missed the game believe it or not to go watch our boys play a basketball game, with some of the worse officiating I've seen in awhile, a couple of them could have been hockey refs, and the officiating effected the outcome of the game..but at least there was a real game..both teams played hard and well.
I haven't seen a highlight reel, if you can call it that, but how can we go from the game we played against the sharks, to tonight..did they just sit still?
Canesfans guys must be drooling like my Saint Bernard at the thought of playing us Thursday night..I love my wings I do..but come on guys..You're THE Red Wings.

I was busy watching a great game between the Rangers and the Devils but I saw the score at the bottom of the screen. I felt sick. I am losing hope for this year. Thank G-d for the Caps or I would be writing off the whole season.

I guess I'm still a pessimist at heart. I used to see the glass half empty with a hidden hole at the bottom. Now? It is jusy hal empty.I never will get to half full, it isn't my nature. I see they are in 9th place so all they need is to move up one or two spaces and they will be okay.

I just saw the highlight reel, or more correctly the Islanders' highlight reel. It was tough. Howard got yanked. But Osgood did not fare any better.
Yes they are the red wings! Talk on the radio today was that even how bad the wings are playing today, it is still pretty sure that they make the playoffs. Most likely the no.8 spot. Too bad for the hawks if they ever do meet up.
The canes are hot right now. Three-game winning streak!

And the canes are riding it right into the Joe this week. I can list a dozen reasons why this is happening, but at the same time..I want them to fight..If they don't start adding some points pretty soon even 8th place is going to be a pipe dream..they have to find a way to hang on until they get our first 2 lines back.
