Today at school, I had to do course planning for grade 12. I had a difficult time selecting my courses for next year because I have no clue what I'm going to become in the future. I want a career that offers a fairly high salary as well as a fun and enjoyable experience while I'm working. What tips/advice can you guys give me?

Don't pick a career based on how high it pays. Keep in mind that you will be doing this for the rest of your life so pick something that you would enjoy doing. Choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life.

Thank you nocturn98. The problem is that I don't know what career suits me. I looked through a list of occupations and none of them seemed to interest me.

In choosing a career, you first need to look with in yourself. What are your interests, capabilities and skills? You must consider the things you enjoy doing even if repeatedly done. If your hard up assessing yourself, ask other people and let them describe your personality. You can also hang out with people with different professions so that you'll have the idea what career offers a fairly high salary as well as a fun and enjoyable experience. If your the type of person who don't really hang out, better have a research. Ask the people around you about your inquiries regarding different careers.
