I bet people will have a sh*t load to talk about.
I was fired for being a man once.
Also fired for getting my teeth pulled out.

How can you be fired for being a man? I can you be fired for getting your teeth pulled out? I don't understand what you are saying. Please explain what you mean.

Hi epticalindustries .
Yes, I could say a lot. It has happened three times to me.
First, around 1976 I landed a job in the produce dept of a food store in PA. They were unionized. I am a born-again Christian. I told my superiors I could not work on Sundays. About Tuesday or so the head man in the produce department said, "You know, after a while, you will be cheating the customer." I said no I won't. The next day I went on break to the break room there was the union contract sitting there, opened to the page that said all employees had to work Sundays when needed. The next day or so I was told I was not needed--that I was too slow.
Around 1995 I was laid off I guess you could call it after only a day after being hired at a fast food place--my wife and son worked there, and someone complained that would be too many family members.
December 2006 I was terminated "without cause" from a newspaper company. I think it was for religious reasons though, because I told my superior I had a problem writing life-style articles (which are usually geared in a non-neutral positive light) that spotlighted sinful activities. I don't mind writing news on anything--but this stuff is usually slanted and I really don't call it news.
