Favourite PS3 game?

I have just recently aquired myself a PS3 with stereo surround and a 42 inch LCD tv... Pretty sweet... But I don't really know what games to go for... I have 007 Quantam of Solace, preety sweet. Assasins Creed, cool but very slow and complicated... I recently Hired out InFamous, AWSOME game... Definetaly buying that one. But I want to know what other games are good for PS3 going in the Shoot 'em up, Role Playing, free roaming genres. I'm a fan of the GTA series so I'll be getting GTA 4 soon. What else is out that might tickle my fancy?

Get Metal Gear Solid 4, one of the greatest games on the PS3. If you are into role playing games, Final Fantasy 13 is already out in Japan. It will be available in english on march.

ah yes. Used to play MGS on PSone AND PS2... Sons of liberty was good, then MGS3 came out and just shattered the detail on the first two. Definetely look into MGS4. Final Fantasy I don't think I will. Never got into that game, I think it was the chocobos that put me off, haha. Actually I just never understood the story at all...

My favorite game is Uncharted 2 on the PS3. Great story, great graphics, long single player, and amazing multiplayer. Even afte ryou finish the game there is a ton of replay value because of the co-op mode and the online multiplayer. Game of the year for a reason!

Well, for action games, Assassin's Creed is definitely a MUST BUY, unless if you hate sandbox games. But since you like GTA, This Assassin's Creed 2 will be great. Another shooter game you can buy is Uncharted 2, on IGN, it was rated the best game for 2009 and 2nd best game of PS3 ever. An alternate shooter game is Metal Gear Solid 4. But if you're looking for massive online games, I suggest MAG, COD MW2 or Battlefield Bad Company 2, all great games. If you're looking for more freedom and kinda fun stuff, try Just Cause 2, it looks great! Good luck!

Hello there, I recommend Final Fantasy XIII one of the best of Playstation 3, It has cool graphics , concepts, gameplay and story. I assure you, you wont be disappointed :) have a nice day.

hmm guess it kinda depends, the CoD series is pretty good, but also gets kinda cheese quick if you play it to much like i have. another good game is borderlands wich is an RPG game with a pretty large map. only down side to that is that you have to give the map time to load at certain points. but other then that its pretty good.

Well i like the game called "Resistance: Fall of man".
I think the game has a very good gameplay and it is a game that is not solved in a few hours due to the large world one is in.
I have only played "call of Jouares" (or what ever it is called) for a very short period of time but i think it is pretty good. It is a game situated in the wild west.
But my absolute favourite game is Fallout 3.
