I recently decided to change up a lot of my eating habits. For one, I've removed pork and red meat from my diet. I now substitute turkey for red meat. And, at first I thought it was going to be hard, actually it really isn't. I don't even really think about those two items anymore. I was watching the travel channel last night and ran across an episode that discussed the best "steak" houses across America, you would have thought I would have had an issue with the show, BUT I really didn't. I just sat there and imagine turkey steaks and turkey burgers. I must admit since I've taken pork and red meat out of my diet I feel so much better. So much more energy and I don't feel stuff and uncomfortable anymore. I should have removed those two things from my diet a long time ago!

That's great to hear. As long as you will always find supplements and alternatives for the foods you have given up, then no problem. Pork and red meat are high source of fats but our body need fats also, however there are many alternatives found in plants and other meat from animals too.
