I always think of the future and I wonder if I'll always have financial hard ships, that I have now.I do cause myself to worry when I get into deep thought about it.I've always had low paying jobs and I think of my future and financial situation.Do you worry about your life?

Hi Java09.
Years back I really worried, even in the first decade of my walk in Christ. However, as I read more in God's Word, and as God worked in my life to bring me through every trouble the worry is gone. There may be concerns and questions, but not worry. It is one thing to read "Fear not little flock..." in the Holy Bible, and another to apply to one's life.
Here is my situation. Ministry has been my main thing (won't say occupation) since 1970. I do not make much money. I had no long term retirement plan--besides, I do not intend to retire from the ministry. What's ahead for me is Social Security and some money in an IRA.
But, rats, look around us, and I think you know what it says in Revelation 13--one of these days our money will be no good.
Anyhow, I can go on. For me, though I'm 57 and don't have a bunch of money, I am trusting God in Christ, who delivered me from trouble in the past. Yahweh-jirreh (sp?) - - - the Lord shall provide. Not that i will sit back and do nothing. I will do whatever He tells me to do.

That's true,I do know money won't be good in the time of the end.I try to meditate on scripture, because I've always had problems with worry,I pray to God,then the worry comes back.I don't like being worried, maybe I should take one day at a time and not think so much.I've been a christian for a couple years now,I'm still pretty new to it,because everytime I read the Bible I do learn something new.I think maybe my problem is I'm never sure if I'm hearing from God.I'm not sure if He talks to me.

Dear Java09, I would like to recommend you a book by Dale Carnegie, one of the world's most famous writer and speaker, and developer of famous courses in self-improvement, interpersonal skills, etc. The title of the book is "How to Stop Worrying and Start Living".
Yes, I understand that no matter how positive we are, there will be times when we can't help but worry. It's really easier said than done to remain positive when the odds are against us.
If you really can't help worrying about something, why don't you just focus on how to solve the problems that you worry about, if they ever become reality? The key thing is, be prepared now so when bad things really happen, you know precisely what to do and ready to take action.
I hope this suggestion will do you some good, my friend.

I am bothered about my current situation and the future. Growing up I lived a middle-class life, never really wanting for anything. My father was an excellent money manager and left my mother VERY well off. But after my first marriage my financial situation took a downward spiral and hasn't become better at all. This is discouraging for me. I didn't see my life turning out this way. I have fibromyalgia which has prevented me from working for the last 13 years. It's been hard living on one income with two kids and a mortage. Thankfully the mortgage will be paid off in less than 6 months and then MAYBE I can begin living. Right now I feel like, well, nothing. I love my kids and I would do anything for them. But they will be gone soon (they're 13 and 16) and hopefully I will be able to do things I've never been able to do.
I try to be positive, leave things in God's hands knowing He will take care of the things I cannot. It's not easy but as long as you live as God intended, things will be okay.

Dear friend
It is definately better to think about future & finances. If you can let me know more about you it can definately help you. I am a management trainer & guide & councellor.
One has to think of upgrading the qaulifications, think of what more value you can offer to your employer-why should he pay you more? There are many more things which are possible.
The best isurance against all future problems is charity. Do it regularly & forget about the future shocks

I think of my future most of the time too!
And I'm warried about financial problems, my parents jobs . . . I'm also warried about my health. Everybody worries, I think. Life is unstable nowadays and people are scared because a lot of things. But I don't take it very serious :) I always try to be in good mood!

Most time, its my work..with ontime deliveries and work loads. I try to divert mind on music and i feel better. We need to manage stress, as it is part of life in busy world.
But if we concentrate, we can manage it. I does it through my yoga, listening music and going out on vacation.
