Are you a good listener?

Having a friend who listens and compromises makes you lucky 'cause you do always count on them. If you were that friend do you think you're lucky?.. A master of profound knowledge stated that once an individual understands this "system of profound knowledge" and is transformed, He will apply its principles in every kind of relationship with other people; One is being a good listener but will NOT compromise. Well, reality bites!, we do this bacause we wanna be close with someone or rather be a best/good friend. It sounds faulty but I think its helpful too...Have you been in a situation that you think you're overdoing being a good listener and compromises all the time or that someone is abusing it? ...hmmm,think again?..^^
