SRILANKA got everything on the last day......

Yes you are right. And you have hit the nail right on its head. Sri Lanka have achieved all that they had lost during all these tough recent days for them. First it was the Test loss that led India to becoming the World No. 1 team. Then in the ODI series, in India, they too had to face the music and could not even win both the two T20s so that they could talk something about. In the concluded triangular series, they were quite impressive in the biginning of the league matches and seemed totally invincible. But in the latter part, it again seemed that there is something amiss and that, this team did not seem to be a great Sri Lankan team. But the way they undid India was marvalous. India had no answer especially to the bowling of the Lankans. The top half of the team was back in the pavalion for almost nothing. India could never really recover from this setback. But for Raina, India would have looked quite ordinary. But matches are not won on individual efforts. Cricket is a team game and the whole team needs to fire. This happened for the Lankans and no wonder they won the final. And they really needed to. They needed this one big win to talk of and it was good for them that this win came against a team like India and not Bangladesh.

IF you review all the matches of the series, you can easily find out that Srilanka always had played beautyfully againest both the teams. Though Srilanka loose a match against India, it does not matter as they were already in the final and they tried to experiment by batting first even after winning the toss. If they had bowled first, then we may even lost the match. I woould rate srilanka higher then india for the whole series and this was proved in the final. They played with dedication and determination. In the whole 2nd innings, india looked puzzled and played irresponsibly.

Ah! ha! ha! It is after all game, the cricket we have been enjoyig in this series was not less thant the World Cup fever. Sri Lankan players remain more energetic and aggressive on the field at all the grounds. They got the reward not becuase India loose the final but for the good play by the team efforts.

In the final, Srilanka played splendidly. Tney bowled well,batted well. Their strike bowlers pulled tne match away from India from the very begining. Dilsan, Sangakara, Jaywardene did tne rest. Poor beginning from India. Raina ,however, kept Indias honour by putting some runs on the board. Indian bowlers faught back well and brought the match into good contest. But fortune favoured Srilanka and ultimate clinched the winning cup.

yes you are right sir srilanka got everything what they want but for india is bad day they played very bad cricket with this kind of performs they will never be number one team in cricket

It was a tough luck for INDIA as they really played well in this idea cup and yet they lot the cup to srilanka. Poor performance by the top order batsman and 240 odd was an easy run chase for srilanka. India should seriously concentrate on the bowling as they are very very poor. Still lot have to be improved. However this is a learning curve for them.

so what we,can win in next series. in next series, at least Indian bowlers should do the job correctly and fielding also.
