Excessive question marks

This might seem to be a picky discussion, but I have to get this out. I've been seeing so many discussions that have a lot more than just one question mark at the end of them, and it's driving me crazy. Why is it that people feel the need to do this? One question mark should do the trick of telling people that a question's being asked.

I have also seen this quite a bit with newbies. I think it is done deliberately, especially with ??? and !!! in an endeavour to draw attention to their discussion.
It does make the discussion title stand out, but to many of us it shouts "Keep going. Don't even look". I think they learn before long, maybe by having their discussion deleted, because it is against myLot tos.

I guess they want to make a point. Obviously they have not read the guidelines where it says using excessive punctuation is a no-no

I think that question marks is hit by a weak finger and it's easy to not move off the key as fast and other keys, I know that is what happens to me sometimes, I try to catch it and delete but that doesn't always happen.
