What cellphone is best for a writer, a blogger and a social networker?

I am still a neophyte when it comes to the modern gadgets. In fact my cellphone is still the oldest model which has no camera. But I am planning to buy a good cellphone that I could use to multi-task. Can anyone advise me on this matter? I have a limited budget so I don't need the expensive ones. Please share what you know. Thanks.

Blackberrys are pretty good as far as that's concerned. I originally got my first blackberry 8520 for $50 after instant rebates and opening a 2 year agreement with my service provider; so if you don't already have a service provider..That's a good way to go. Also, sometimes, if you already have a service provider, ask them about their "open box" specials. This means that these phones were recently returned and haven't been used (and nothing is wrong with them) and their asking price is much cheaper than if you were to buy it new. And something they let me do when I ordered my open-box phone was spread out the cost of it over my monthly payments - which they had no problem letting ME do. So, I'm paying $33 a month until I get the $150 paid off that I had to pay for the phone. It doesn't lessen the cost, but it helps even it out so you don't have to pay it on the spot or pay it in one lump sum. What I like about the Blackberry.. is that it has internet, you can download a Wordpress (blogging) application, it has memo pads where you can store writing, a Facebook app, a camera/video camera, and so on. It has a lot of useful applications & features. The best phone I ever had. And not the newest Blackberry, either, so it's relatively cheap(er) than the other, newer ones like the 8900.

You would need a smart phone something with windows mobile or something on it for multi-tasking. If blackbery isn't your cup of tea, there are other smart phones out there. Some providers are offering pay as you go plans. Your cell phone bill will be slightly larger each month, but well worth it in the end. At least I think so.
