What do you think about abortion?

Should women have the right to decide whether they want to keep their baby or have an abortion?

that's a real hard issue to hit.
i'm pro choice. though i think with modern medicine there shouldn't be unwanted pregnancies or teen pregnancies. but.......if tests show that an infant is going to be severly handicapped, then maybe it's better for the pregnancy to end. i work with multi-handicapped children and see daily how hard their lives are. most aren't taken care of. they come to school dirty, hungry, in dirty diapers, etc.
when we complain about these issues, it's either deal with it or they tell us that children and youth are short handed.
should a women decide to keep " THEIR" baby? if you are saying their, you are already including a father. he also has rights. and you are saying " women". if they are grown women, then precaution should be taken if a pregnancy isn't wanted. i understand sometimes accidents happen or birth control didn't work, but making decisions is part of life.

children that arent handicapped are treated exactly as you described. thats because of lack of love and care on the adults part not anything at all to do with children being handicapped. if you want to know what true love is go watch this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=040xxFO86NY

yes i think they do have the right to decide if they should abort or no coz they are the ones who carry the child in the womb

no i don't.. because that child will eventually find love or will be loved! i have yet to see it happen.. for example my fiance was an unwanted child from his mother! he still lived with her but she did nothing for him.. she would use him to go and get a job to support her when he was 16, he never ate, and he even told me that she never showed him any kind of attention or love! He thought that he would be miserable his whole life until he met me! now were going to get married! and theres plenty of this that i see go around.. but they evetnualy do see love to them! so if a child does grow up without it doesn't mean that there still isn't a chance!

I think if you were woman enough to play around with a man in bed, then you are woman enough to have the baby. There should only be certain circumstances when an abortion should be allowed. I think those situations are if the woman and/or the babys life is in danger or the woman was raped or the baby is going to have alot of problems or has alot of defects. Other than that if you can't afford or handle raising the child, then have the baby and give the baby up for adoption.

abortions should be free and legal until 14 weeks and then totally banned.you shouldnt judge people too harshly for having an abortion,it can be a terrible heartbreaking thing that wrecks your soul with guilt for a lifetime.always wondering about the person that would have been,that should have been.our concience,the haunting grief is punishment enough

no because the choice to end that life is NOT about the womans body. its about the life of that baby and that decision belongs to God.

GOD HAS GIVEN MAN THE POWER OF CHOICE BETWEEN GOOD AND BAD, HE (GOD)AT THE SAME TIME ADVICED MAN TO CHOOSE GOOD (when i say man, woman is inclusive)HE DIDN'T GIVE MAN THE RIGHT TO DO BAD OR TO COMMIT EVIL. MAN WILL SEE THAT OPTION AS AN OPPORTUNITY TO A RIGHT. COMMITING ABORTION IS EVIL IN THE SIGHT OF GOD AND MAN. ABORTION IS SATAN SACRIFICE. SPARE THE LIFE BECAUSE YOU CAN NOT GIVE IT.
