Unfortuantely for us, we cannot fix what we have broken, globalwarming. We can try and make a difference, but the damage is really bad and no fixing will change that. I think, yes, we are starting to face our end of days. We wil never know when or what day, but it is much closer than we think.

I agree! But it's kinda terrifying to think about the end of the world. Well.. I'm not expecting it would be like as we seen on 2012 the movie.

It's really hard to ignore the comparison with the recent movie 2012 and the unfortunate environmental disasters happening nowadays. I know 2012 is just a movie and for some it may be far from reality but with the rationale at hand, it will just make one's mind think more about the situation and compare it to our present days. With the recent northern california and haiti earthquakes...who won't get troubled by that? Isn't it the same as what happend on the movie? I hate to think about it but it just reeled on through my small head. I don't wanna believe on the 2012 end of the world predictions but somehow as human beings, we can't help it...don't we. But for some reason I believe we just have to pray hard and stay aware of the things happening around us. Let us do hope it's not yet the end of the world.

the movie acts like an astrologer.. telling about our past and predicting the future.. we cant stop comparing the movie with our present situation..

I think we should try is to use orifinal product,do not use plastic bags, dispoasble cups, disposable lunch boxes, and disposable chopsticks.if everyone can do that,i think the world is destroyed,is also learning to be a very long time ,must be environmentally friendly. The environment is fundamental to our survival.

Very one knows that world will come to an end one day, due to global worming, temperature are changing, earth quakes happening often, it means world does not come to an end. World will come to end, When there is no humunity in the hearts of people, they fight like animals, think like animals, eat like animals.

Well I think world will have an ending but as to what will cause the end of it, I do not know. When it will happen is not known, the phenomenon that is happening around the world is just part of changes that is always happening in our world. I think human also contribute to it in some ways like the warming of temperatures and everything. We can always contribute by lessening our carbon emissions to our atmosphere but there is no assurance in it since we are totally dependent on oil.

yes.. encouraging solar energy can make a far better change.. we can control pollution in a dramatic way.. but will the big shots belonging to oil trading let it happen?

The global warming is not a big a problem as you expect it. The earth has been heating and cooling for millions of years. So the global warming crisis is just a myth. In the past many scientist say the earth will be a frozen wasteland by the year 2000. That didn't happen. So just be cautious. They are also treatments for disease as well. Earthquakes always happen. Its best to go to a place where earthquakes don't happen that often.

It's all been kicking off big time this year. Already, we have had masses of snowfall, earthquakes, new diseases developing...AND we aren't even out of the first month yet
I hope the world doesn't end for a long time yet, but with the way 2010 has been going, I would not be surprised if it currently is.

There is an answer for almost every issue in life, including this one.
The world as we know it is not about to end any time soon.
There are many prophecies in the Bible that have yet to be fulfilled, towards that end.
Many, many prophecies have been, and are currently being fulfilled in our time.
In the Old Testament book of Ecclesiastes
Chapter 1 verses 1-8 it says:
Everything Has Its Time - 1 To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven: 2 A time to be born, And a time to die; A time to plant, And a time to pluck what is planted; 3 A time to kill, And a time to heal; A time to break down, And a time to build up; 4 A time to weep, And a time to laugh; A time to mourn, And a time to dance; 5 A time to cast away stones, And a time to gather stones; A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing; 6 A time to gain, And a time to lose; A time to keep, And a time to throw away; 7 A time to tear, And a time to sew; A time to keep silence, And a time to speak; 8 A time to love, And a time to hate; A time of war, And a time of peace.
So everything is going in its season.
Global warming is nothing new, and it will again change to the 'new ice age' theme again, as we've been though that too.
Ecclesiastes says that there is 'nothing new under the sun.'
You might want to look at amazon or somewhere and look for a book by Hal Lindsey - The Late Great Planet Earth. It's a million or more seller, and is quite informative as to where we are and where we're heading. There are also some excellent books by John Hagee about 'current events' and what's to come. And he is right on too.

In my opinion, humanity will still exist despite the destruction of our environment. If we are living in the Jurassic age, we definitely say the world is coming to an end. But it is not! If global warming will affect us tremendously, many would die and I'm sure some will live to continue humanities legacy here on Earth. Mother Earth will surely heal itself after a great destruction (as seen in the past), and hopefully, humanity too. The good thing is that we will not be here to witness it (but our descendants will sure is).

Hi dhanasekart1984.
Though I think global warming is a farce (I was told ice age in high school), these other signs are valid. However, the signs we are now seeing point to the end of the present age, and not the whole world.
Per Dan. 9:27, the Antichrist needs to rise up and sign an agreement with the Jews for 7 years. He breaks that agreement after 3.5 years, and for the second half there is trouble for Israel. However, that concludes with Armageddon (which is not the destruction of the world either), and Christ returning to rule for 1,000 years (for this please see Revelation 19, 20). After the 1,000 Gog and Magog throw a fit, the earth is then destroyed, but God makes it new (see Revelation 21). Adding that up, we have just over 1,007 years from the time the Antichrist signs that agreement to the dreaded (by some) end of the world.
Some, like myself, feel there are 7 time periods set for earth. We are in the fifth, the time of the Church. The signs you now see point to the end of this time period and the beginning of the sixth, what some call the Great Tribulation, or might be better termed, the based on Daniel 9, the seventy seventh for the Jews. This last seventh for Jews is necessary to bring them to the true Messiah, Jesus Who was of Nazareth. The latter chapters of Zechariah give details.

Based on the Holy Bible there would be many famines, massive disease epidemics, earthquakes, changes in weather, wars and other conflicts between nations. But its not yet the end of the world. Many believes that man's development of modern destructive weapons with the ability to destroy human life is a sure sign of the last days.No matter how difficult things look, some will assure everyone that man has everything under control. But in reality such assurances will do nothing but provide a false sense of security, leading people to foolishly continue to trust in human ability rather than God. It is not a question of whether the world will end, God's Word says it will. Jesus said it will be impossible for men to precisely calculate this ahead of time (Matthew 24:36).

Of course the world isn't coming to an end. There has always been bad weather, earthquakes, pollution, disease, wars, famine etc as far back in history as you care to look. This planet's been around for several billion years already, we're good for a few more billion years until the sun goes nova. So don't worry, be happy.

Like what happened to our country last year strong typhoons hits us and this year the earquake in Haiti. I want to believe that world come to an end but who knows when. We can't control the natural calamities like earthquakes, typhoon and other natural calamities. Like what happened in Haiti is shocking and suprising.

I never believe in the concept that the world is going to come to and end. It's all a meagre rumour being spread by certain elements. Yes, for our deeds we may suffer the consequences. The human race might be wiped out soon but not the globe. This globe has a solid age of 50 crores years still. Depending upon the climate changes and other things, a new species would be arising out of it and that would be the only thing occuring and change is the ever lasting inevitable occurance which has to take place everywhere.

no, dear friend, why r u so perssimistic?
I think there is not any way to bring back a original earth because what damaged is damaged. The only way is to cherish and love our earth right now.
