Let us think about the role of history in our life. Usualy people say we must know our histroy, to be proud with it and to learn from the mistakes of the past. Sounds good really, but have you ever thought about the other side of the coin. Dont people use history as a reason for conflicts? Actually that happens too often I think. Probably the most glaring example is antisemitism. Antisemits find a reason to hate jews in the bible right? And that caused the death of millions during the SW2. There are many more examples of history giving a reason to people to hate each other. So imagin? for a moment that we dont study history in schools and dont know anything about the past and tell me what you think - what would the positives and negatives be and which ones would be more.

Many lessons are to be learned from History. Both the good lessons and the bad lessons. There are things to be gained from looking at History. There are certain things that are happening today and by looking at history, we can pretty much determine the reason why. Sometimes history can seem like a bit dull but really, the successes of tomorrow will be learned from the mistakes of History. If we do not study History, then we will be doomed to repeat the same failures and maybe the successes would be lost in time as well.

History always be good, as we learn from the past and dont make a common mistake twice. I think the negative side is, history is not neccessary true to the real fact, u know that maybe there are many cover-ups in the history that nobody know, I guess, like in the Da Vinci Code or something like that(i know the book is a fiction work)
