How is the Traffic management in your city? / myLot

Hey people what are the new projects coming up in your city to compensate the ever increasing traffic? Every year millions of vehicles go on adding in my city which is pune. The public transport system is very bad here thats why people prefer own vehicles and which ultimately leads to traffic jams on roads. Govt has planned to implement metro rail, BRTS system on which work has been already started. How is traffic in your city/region? Is it under control?

We don't really have that much problem with traffic here. It only gets bad when there's a certain festival. But during regular days, traffic is not really a problem.

i am from south India,the traffic is increasing day by day..but our traffic management doesn't take care about this..i am a student of science..whenever i am going it could be a huge traffic..i feel irritated by the smoke of old government buses..yes i agree with you that our government has implemented the railway,airway and waterway systems...but they are not caring about the road transport , in south India they have not yet been implemented the system to clear the traffics..
