My friends and I have some weird sort of uncontracted agreement to not date eachothers ex's just was wondering if you guys did the same.

I think it depends on the situation..like if you just broke up and then your friend started dating your ex right then and there, then I think thats just wrong. But if you've broken up with your ex for a long time and you've forgotten about your ex and stuff, I think there's no problem with that.

I guess it would depend which ex and the situation. My last ex was over 10 years ago since i've been with my husband for 10 years. So if she ended up with any of my ex's it wouldn't really bother me because it has been so long. I remember being mad at my sister for going after my childhood sweetheart. I think that was crossing the line. I think most friends have that unspoken thing that you don't date ex's.

Life is too short to let opportunities go by. I am not saying that you should start dating as soon as the break up occurs but I do not think that you should wait for a certain amount of time to go by before you approach the ex and ask if he/she is willing to go out with you.A person might be perfect for one person but your best friend might not be perfect for that same person.

There's nothing wrong with it since its an EX. What's wrong is if they became an EX because your freind dated them . But seriously, it depends on the situation because there are times that you are not in good terms with your BF or GF when you separated. If that is the case, someone will placed in an awkward situation when the three of you get together because sooner or later that time will come. Good thing i never came to that point. Cheers!
