Hey guys! I used to be a big fan of horror movies but ever since i watched the japanese version of The Grudge, i stopped watching horror movies. For some reason, it scared me to death. I didn't sleep for a week just because of watching that movie. Until now, just to think about the scary death woman going down the stairs, it creeps the hell out of me. How about you? What horror movie scared you to death?

I am a big fan of horror movies but i am never scared of them even if there some scenes that freaks me out. The only time i get scared of a horror movie is when i remained home alone in the night , and watched Haunting in Connecticut with the volume very high.Couldn't go to the bathroom that night. :s

I liked the scenes of the movie wrong turn which made my heart beat stopped manya times but i would like to mention a movie called raat which really made me feel scared, may be a reason for that was my small age as i was alone watching that scary movie while everyone sleeping and i was very young that time.

I watch all kinds of horror movies and they dont really scare me or bother me. The only horror movie that scares me is Halloween. For some reason I dont know it just creeps me out. However, I recently watched Paranormal Activity and that really scared me. If you like horror movies you should definitely watch that one.

I haven't been scared of a horror movie since I was a kid. I'm a horror movie fan in general and since I've been watching scary movies for years I feel that I'm a bit desensitized from most horror movies scariness. But I do remember when I was 11 years old and saw the movie "The Exorcist" for the first time ..Oh man, that movie scared me like no other, I slept with my bedroom light on for a month after viewing that movie. I also remember seeing "Poltergeist" when it first came out when I was a kid and I remember that movie scaring me a lot also. "The Grudge" is a creepy movie and one of my favorites. I own the American version and the Japanese(Ju-on)version on DVD,my favorite version of the two is the original "Ju-on" Japanese version, I think it's more creepier then American version. I think Asian horror movies are some of the creepiest & best movies anyone can watch. I get annoyed when Hollywood remakes American versions of some of the Asian horror movies because they are never as good as the original( like the crappy remake of "The Eye"). I don't mind reading subtitles at all..

Ooh The Grudge is a creepy one. I remember watching that one when it first came out. I honestly don't know if I can say any particular movie scared me that much. It takes a lot to scare me and unfortunately I just feel like most of the horror movies these days aren't that scary. They're more often blood and gore than pure scary. I love scary compared to the blood and gore - I really wish there were more great, scary movies out there!

Me too got scared when I saw the Japanese version of grudge and then i stopped watching horror movie for 4 to 5 months as whenever I went to sleep the scenes haunted me too much.If I have watched it in theater then I would have got heart attack I think so.It is really very scary movie.

As an adult no Horror movies made me lose sleep. But as a child there were many. But I was addicted to them. The rush was amazing! I remember watching Jason, and Freddy movies thinking "This is so fake" and then jumping out of my seat in fear. I still have the same Horror movie addiction but for different reasons. I enjoy Special Effects and Horror make-up. I think the movie that scared me the most was the Blair Witch Project. The first time I ever watched it, I was home by myself in our house in the country. It was my first time taking care of the house while my parents were out. So watching that movie by myself in a house that I had never been alone in before was terrifying!
