Did you hear Rue McClanahan has a stroke. She has a bypass surgery on Nov 4th of last year. And had a minor stroke while on surgery. She is recovering in the hospital and doing well.

Oh no! I didn't hear about this. Rue McClanahan is one of my favorite Golden girls. I hope she is still doing great. I loved her as Blanche on Golden girls.

I had no idea that this happened! If it was publicized when she first had it, I must have had my head under a rock, because I never heard a thing about it. It's so sad, especially taking into consideration the deaths of Estelle Getty (Sophia) and Bea Arthur (Dorothy).

Yes I heard about this yesterday and I hope and pray she pulls thru. Her 76th birthday is next month and I hope she will be able to celebrate it in better health. I still watch the Golden Girls in reruns. I can't believe its only Rue and Betty left of the four. There was so much talent on that set with those 4 beautiful females.
