I also love that line,"I don't need a ring around my finger to make me feel complete".I am all for women power and independence.I don't think that to be complete,there should be marriage.my ultimate hero is Coco Chanel.she is the epitome of women power.she is single and successful.

Aye! aye! I agree with that line in the song. Don't get me wrong, I like having my husband around and I would go nuts without him. But I would like to believe that I am a strong and independent woman who can run a career and a household. When it comes to work, I am in total control. When it comes to our marriage, my husband and I consult each other before making a decision. Each of us has an independent mind and we listen to each others opinion which I think is a sign that we respect each other. cheers!

Well I like the lyrics and I don't need a ring around my finger to make me complete. I can live with a man forever and not need a ring around my finger to show or prove his love for me. I find that old school thinking and I don't abide by it at all.

Thats a nice song....thanks for sharing that. Perhaps true in some sense. Being independent is really good. We dont have to wait for a man to drive for us when we can, basically if we can do things man can...why not. :) in some things we do need man to complete our life .
