Do you have morning Rituals to make yourself feel great for the day ahead..I run through my conditioning statement then ask myself several questions in my diary, listen to some fast paced music when doing a 20 minute work out, without this I carry through a day knowing that I am not being productive, having as much energy or as creative as I could be, then its sort our 4 children ready for School, get dressed and do all of the daily healthy neccessities and then waken my wife to finish the childre off ..What do you do each morning to make yourself feel great for the day ahead

I don't have a ritual exactly, as most things change except for one. I have to listen to music for at least ten minutes in the morning. I enjoy singing for a little while and just starting the day off with something happy before I try going out and interacting with people. If I don't get to do it, sometimes I am grumpy, and sometimes I'm just down. You can take away my morning shower, breakfast, coffee, computer, etc., but if you take away my music I just get really sluggish for some reason. I guess it's like a pep talk or something.

What you are experiencing is something that NLP trainers like to call Anchoring, this is where our mind links or anchors feelings to a particular happening be it a type of music or a touch or even a smell, realising the power of this, you can use it in your life to build yourself a toolbox if you like and to trigger the feelings you want at any given moment be it for motivation, relaxation or feeling loved or any other feeling you want in your life.

you have a nice way of starting your day... do you do that everyday? huh!
with me, hmmmm i don't have much rituals in the morning, i usually wake up late coz i don't have children to take care of, and my husband is already used to me...haha
when i wake up, i always take some time to laze at bed, stop & think what to do for the day...then say a little prayer & get up... have a coffee and talk to my husband while he's surfing the net...hehe and of course i also talk to my cats...sometimes.
after that, im ready for my day!
