In recent local news of York, Pennsylvania a 2 year old boy had found a gun in his parents closet while we was supposed to be taking a nap. It was loaded and the boy accidently shot himself in the head. It is that that there will be brain damage. This happened just yesterday.
So my question is do you keep a gun in the house? If you do, do you keep it loaded? Do you keep it locked up or out in the open? Do you have any children in the house that could get to it?
I'm not against guns, I just would never keep one in my house. I believe that if you have a gun, you may try to use it when it isn't really necessary. And also the chance of an accident like this is obviously more likely to happen with a weapon than without.

Used to have one, but I give it up. I don't think I needed it anymore since their had been no criminal activity happening in our community for long periods of years now. Its never used for personal safety actually, but rather more on recreation purposes. I use it for target shooting in a local shooting range, but when I got married and have family, I drop that fashion.
