Hi everyone. My First child would be born by July this year. We still don't know the baby's gender. Could you suggest any good names? I have chosen a few names. If it is a boy, I like the names Jude or Mikhail. If it's a girl I like Lucille. What are your thoughts? If you would change your name what would it be?

Hi king4aday. First, I want to congratulate for your first baby. I do hope that you would be a great Dad. Well, I would suggest names that are not so familiar/known. If your baby would be a boy, I would suggest "Xhavier/Xavier", "Yuno", and/or "Yuri". Well, if it would be a girl, I would suggest "Khairie/Kairie" and/or "Terra". Hehe... Anyways, it's still your choice to choose what name you want for your upcoming baby. Anyways again, congratulations and happy parenting. Good Luck! xD

Thanks for the response. Great names. I like Kharie\kairie. What does the name means? Xavier is also a nice name. Thanks for the congratulating me.

It's Khairie not Kharie... xD Anyways, I have already forgotten it's meaning. I have just generated it from a name generator years ago... ;P

Congratulations king4aday! It is such a blessing to have children. I think Jude, as you mentioned, would be superb! The epistle of Jude is quite powerful (and my favorite epistle). Some suggested Xhavier/Xavier, and that sounds good too. For a girl, maybe Dorcas, Rhoda. Uh, I'm in the USA, but quite interested in the Philippines.

Thanks for the response. I got name of Jude from St. Jude Thaddeus. Xhavier/xavier is a good name. What does Dorcas means?

HI! I think you should give it a name, that you want and not asking some one else, because it is your baby, and I think parents should give their children names, and not foreign people!

LOL! Your comment made me laugh. The discussion starter is just asking for some good "SUGGESTIONS". And also, he started the discussion under the "PHILIPPINES" section, I think that is a way of him asking suggestions from Filipinos and NOT from foreigners... xD

That's true. But I am pretty excited haha. Hmmm. . . Pedro and Pacita. It's like a town in Laguna Philippines. Pacita Complex San Pedro Laguna. Is that how you got those names? Thanks for the response

well just to squeeze a few laughs out of you, you know at the back of large dictionary you will find list of great names, have a look, you might find something there you will like, I took my kids names from there, Helena, Victoria, Vincent. these names have meaning, somehow when they knew what their names meant, the kids had kind of adopted their meaning and had lived into it.

hi king4aday, If I were to change my name...I would probably choose a different name, which is completely unique and never heard before. haha! But my mom named me after her nick name which for me is totally cool! I suggest that you think of a really unique name for your first child. Mikhail sounds unique, I like it. Some parents incorporate both their names and come up with a very nice name. You can also try that one.

When I have my child, his/her name would be 'Anonymous'... It's like a cool name and a pun in one! He even gets to claim all the unnamed works! ^_^
