Could we save our PHP code?

Hello. The way Php works is makes the page and sends it out as html. So basicly it generates the html for the page from the Php. They could view source and copy the code out, Like the html. For example someone could save all the pages of MyLot but they cant run there own mylot, They just have the html, Not the code that makes the pages. So all they are saving is content generated not the code that generates it. This is the best way i can think of explain this. Also if your server is msconfiged it could send out raw Php code.
