Cat Crossing Road - Brings Bad Luck

I have heard many a time people saying that their day has gone bad because a cat cut their road. I have seen many people to stop their vehicle, get down from it, spit off, reverse the journey, take ten steps backward, wait for others to cross first and do so many other things for the same reason. The colour of the cat also is the deciding factor for the intensity of your bad luck. The black is the worst. I don't believe in such superstitions. Do you? How and where does this superstition come from? Is there any scientific explanation behind this?

Nah, I don't believe in such stuff. Some people also say, that if you whistle inside your home, it'll burn down. And if you put your bag on the floor you'll lose your money. Oh c'mon, the only way you can lose your money is when some thief will pick up your bag and run away.

the only one I see this being bad luck for is the cat.... I am certianly not going to stop, spit on it or reverse direction over it,so for it's own sake, I sincerelyt hope it isn't expecting me to. As for the color,well,a run over cat is a run over cat no matter what color it is, don't see how one color is any luckier than another for it,though a black cat at night is probably in more trouble than a lighter colored more visible one.

no way i can't accept this,i don't believe in such things, i just believe only my self not all depend on this cat crossing the road, i think it's a stupid thing, a cat cross me lot of times , but for me never happens any bad, a cat just doing his usual work that's all i feel about cat, so, this my suggestion.
